Xolography: Where Precision Light Control Meets Advanced Material Science

What is Xolography?

Xolography is an innovative 3D printing technology that uses two distinct wavelengths of light to craft high-resolution structures. It allows for precise control and unparalleled detail in the creation process.

How Does It Work?

Xolography combines photochemistry and material science with high-tech hardware. The Xube printer uses dual-color photoinitiators (DCPIs) and high-viscosity materials. Intersecting light beams induce precise polymerization, creating detailed structures.

Spatial Printing: Faster than Anything Else Xolography outpaces other technologies by creating entire objects in one continuous motion, rather than building them line by line or layer by layer. This simultaneous processing significantly reduces print times without compromising on resolution.

Printing at Incredibly High Resolution Xolography optimizes resolution in the x and y directions using a 4K projector, achieving resolutions up to 5 µm. In the printing direction, the absence of layers and the continuous movement of the light sheet enable feature sizes down to 5 µm and produce extremely smooth surfaces.

Xolography Printers: Swift Customization and Versatile Material Handling

Xolography printers adapt to various cuvettes and light sources, enabling quick customization for specific resolutions and materials – from robust polymers to delicate hydrogels. Sealed materials in the cuvette allow swift switching between applications and build volumes in seconds. This versatility and efficiency enhance the printer’s capability for diverse research, prototyping, and production needs across various organizations and industries.
